By Steven Dietz
Directed by Cathy Durrant

“I want your fear” For your fear, like a current, rushes through your body.
Your fear makes your heart pound, it renders your veins rich and full. Your fear hemorrhages deliciously within you.”
This new adaptation restores the suspense and seduction of Bram Stoker’s classic novel to the stage.
As Count Dracula begins to exert his will upon the residents of London, they try to piece together the clues of his appearances—in a valiant attempt to save themselves from a hideous fate.
Rich with both humour and horror, this play paints a wickedly theatrical picture of Stoker’s famous vampire.

DRACULA (DIETZ) is presented by special arrangement with Broadway Licensing, LLC, servicing the Dramatists Play Service collection. (www.dramatists.com)

By Hilary Spires
Directed by Christine Linden-Smith

When seven British ladies decide to take an educational writing course in sunny Spain relationships develop and tales are told.

The characters are diverse and all, bar Clare, are middle-aged. Their young tutor Gareth is out-numbered, out-manoeuvred and completely out-classed by his manipulative pupils. In this character and twist-driven comedy full of surprises and poignancy, the seven women have fun and so do the audience, and although it is a kindred spirit to the popular ‘Calendar Girls’, it has its own sparkle and pathos.

With sun, sand, sangria and storytelling, coupled with a hint of surreptitious sex, what could possibly go wrong?

This amateur production of ‘Hoovering on the Edge’ is presented by arrangement with Stagescripts Ltd

Based on real life events ‘Pack of Lies’ is a beautifully written Cold War spy triller set in suburban Ruislip in 1961.
The Jacksons are a nice middle-aged English couple. Their best friends are their Canadian neighbors, the Krogers. All is blissful in their world until a detective from Scotland Yard asks to use their house as an observation station to try and foil a Soviet spy ring operating in the area.

The Jacksons become increasingly uncomfortable as Scotland Yard’s demands on them increase. They are really put to the test when the detective reveals that the spies are the Krogers, and he asks them to help set a trap. Should they betray their friends?
Winner of Laurence Olivier and Tony Awards

Agatha’s back, joining a genealogy course to find out about her family tree. The course is held in one of the best-preserved medieval houses in the country, Bramwell Towers, built on the site of an old Franciscan Priory, but she has scarcely been there a few hours when one of the people running the course dies in suspicious circumstances. And then one by one others follow.

The police are called, but the arrival of DI Twigg doesn’t fill the worried course participants with optimism and, yet again, it falls on Miss Crusty to solve the case amid bodies piling up as fast as the laughs.

The wheelchair-accessible seats can be purchased as standard seating if all others seats have been bought.

A spine-chilling play by Hugh Janes, based on several original ghost stories by Charles Dickens.
In an ancient, crumbling mansion, sheltering from the howling winds that tear across the surrounding desolate moorland, two men stumble across a dark and terrifying secret that will change both of their lives.
When a young book dealer, David Filde, is employed by a former associate of his uncle to catalogue a private library, he finds an incredible array of rare and antiquated books. But as a series of strange and unexplained events conspires to keep Filde from his work, he realises that if he is to convince his sceptical employer that the mysterious phenomena he is experiencing are real, they must journey together to the very edge of terror, and beyond…

By Norman Robbins
Directed by Alison Shapley

A Tomb With A View is set in as sinister an old library as one is likely to come across presided over by a portrait of a grim faced, mad eyed old man. There, a dusty, lawyer reads a will (involving some millions of pounds) to an equally sinister family. One member of which has werewolf tendencies, another wanders around in a toga of Julius Caesar and a third member is a gentle old lady who plants more than seeds in her flower beds. By the third act, there are more corpses than live members left in the cast and what about the sympathetic nurse and the author of romantic novels are they all, or more than, they seem to be? All is revealed as the plot twists and turns to its surprising conclusion.
