It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Peter Ramsey who had been ill for many years. Peter is best remembered for the wonderful job he did for the Barn in photographing our productions for us. He provided a record that is invaluable to us and done in the perfectionist style that was Peter the photographer. His illness with lung problems led to him not being able to visit the Barn as often as he, and us , would have wished. We send our deepest sympathy and most sincere condolences to his family.
It is with great sadness that the Barn reports the recent death of Ann Kybird who until recently was a keen supporter of the Barn. She had been a member for many years and enjoyed meeting friends in the Green Room. She will be sorely missed and we send our sympathy to those who loved her.
It is with great sadness that we report the passing of David Moore. David went into hospital on the 1 April and after a short illness sadly passed away. David was an ex- Chairman of the IBTS, and with his wife Hilary, was a great supporter of the Barn. He was a man of great kindness and humour and was well respected by many. We send our deepest sympathy to Hilary and her family on their sad loss.

Please do not miss this production of a funny, sad, ingenious play, which has a cast of fifteen characters, male and female, all played by two talented Barn actors.
The play is based on the idea of a Hollywood film company filming a movie in a small Irish village and the resulting impact on that community.
Charlie Conlon and Jake Quinn are two of the locals employed as extras, and they also become a wildly varied range of other characters, transforming themselves with no more than a look, a gesture, a stance, and variation of accent. So, enjoy the spectacle of Charlie suddenly becoming Caroline Giovanni, the American star; or Jake becoming Simon, the ambitious assistant director. These are but two examples of the humour and poignancy in this original and exciting play.
Stones in his Pockets won the Olivier award for Best New Comedy in 2001, and ran for four years to critical acclaim in London and in Dublin, Belfast, Edinburgh and New York.
It is a “sad, hilarious, and irresistible two-man show” - The Sunday Times.
