Latecomers to performances will not be allowed into the auditorium until the end of a scene or an act, in order to lessen the disruption of the performance for other members of the audience.

Friday 23rd May... Play Reading... title TBA... watch out for information at the Barn...at 8:30

Sunday 25th May....Lunch...another fine meal at Cafe Barn... at 1 pm

 

Friday 30th May...Painting evening... join the other Van Gogh's [ear removal optional] for a frenzied evening of paint sloshing at 8.30

 

Friday 6th June...Beer and Verse or Rhyme and Wine...an evening of poems and booze[optional] bring along your favourite poem and read it to us or just come and listen to what others read.

Sunday 13th June. Join us for a gentle stroll across the meadows and beyond on a fine, sunny and warm Sunday afternoon... Start 2:30 for an hour or so.

 

Friday 20th June Play reading.. title TBA…watch out for further information at the Barn at 8:30

 

Friday  27th June...Painting evening...of course it could look more like a Picasso but come along anyway. 8:30pm

 

Sunday 29th June... Lunch...why cook when you can just eat! Come along at 1pm

       

Friday 4th July …Brer Rabbit and Friends.... a celebration of Joel Chandler Harris's great creation Brer Rabbit and Tales from the Briar Patch. 8:30pm

 

Thursday 24th July... The Green Room Annual General Meeting  follows the IBTS AGM

 

 

 

 

 

 

HAY FEVER

At the Barn Theatre

Book now for the first production at the Barn Theatre of the famous comedy Hay Fever" by Noel Coward.

The Bliss family, ultra-bohemian, all totally selfish, have each invited a guest for the weekend without informing the others

BUT

Talented hosts need talented guests and the conventional guests find themselves hopelessly lost in the "games" played by the family.

Come and enjoy the best of Noel Coward comedies

The bar at the Barn is staffed by volunteers and more people are needed to help with this

The bar is open Friday evenings and Sunday lunchtimes as well as on performance nights.

Full training will be given.

 

Congratulations to Gareth Brownhill who has written a radio script "Turning the Tide" which has been accepted and will be available as a download from the internet.

 

 

Advance notice: Auditions for the December production ‘ Treasure Island’ will take place on 31 August 2008
